Naperville, Ill. – (August 18, 2020) – Financial institution cardholder loyalty-and-engagement leader, ampliFI Loyalty Solutions, continues their efforts in product innovation to offer the “Pay With Points” solution. This real-time redemption offering allows cardholders the ability to pay for purchases with points at the point of sale. The initial launch was completed with longtime partner, UMB Bank.
As part of the loyalty provider’s real-time redemption suite, the Pay With Points solution is available at any merchant when the consumer uses their UMB Visa branded credit or debit cards. “Pay With Points allows for increased communication with cardholders via a targeted notification strategy, enabling opportunities for real-time engagement at the point of transaction,” says Mike Moss, Chief Operations Officer at ampliFI Loyalty Solutions. With Pay With Points, UMB Visa cardholders are notified via text or email right after the purchase and can choose to redeem points for their transactions via statement credits before they even leave the store. Moss adds, “Pay With Points makes the redemption process quick and easy, allowing cardholders to redeem their reward points for virtually anything they purchase.” Cardholders will also have the option to pay for transactions after they have posted to their account providing additional choices for redeeming rewards that are easy and convenient.
Ron Silvia, ampliFI Loyalty Solutions’ Chief Revenue Officer, is excited for this solution and to be partnered with UMB Bank, as the offering launch partner. UMB is the first ampliFI Loyalty Solutions partner and one of the first financial institutions in the U.S. to launch the real-time, fully integrated Pay With Points product. “Financial institutions have continued to challenge the traditional earn-and-burn rewards solutions and we feel we have met the challenge by offering an innovative way for cardholders to use their points,” Silvia says. “Consumer demand for unique and personal experiences along with easy-to-use choices for redemption with their card’s rewards program has been heightened and this solution delivers on the ask.” He adds, “UMB Bank has been extremely supportive in the building of this solution as also realize that the continued value of ongoing, unique engagement with consumers contributes to winning the coveted ‘top-of-wallet’ position in the card payments channel.”
Adam Cannon, Senior Vice President, Consumer Card Group Manager at UMB Bank, said, “We’re excited about this new partnership with ampliFI. Pay With Points provides our cardholders a new and meaningful way to utilize their rewards, which is something UMB is always striving to accomplish.”
