Optimizing Loyalty: Motivating members to redeem

The Wise Marketer recently interviewed Azim Esmail to get his perspective on the role of rewards in driving customer engagement and loyalty – specifically, loyalty program redemption.

Many loyalty programs have a group of members with enough points to make a redemption, but they are not redeeming for a reward.  Why do you think this is occurring and what must loyalty program operators do to positively encourage redemption behavior?
