AeroMexico awards bonus miles for each Mexican goal
AeroMexico - which is the official airline sponsor of the Mexican National Soccer team - has announced plans to celebrate every 2006 World Cup goal by the Mexican team by awarding 625 miles per goal to its Club Premier frequent flyer programme members.
Programme members qualify for the unusual mileage bonuses by booking a flight and travelling using their Club Premier account at least once between 9th June and 9th July 2006. However, travel with AeroMexico codeshare partners does not qualify.
Travellers who do not register their Club Premier account during the promotional period will not be able to earn the promotional bonus reward miles retrospectively.
Bonus awards Members with qualifying flights are automatically entered into the soccer goal matching promotion, with all bonus miles counting toward award tickets on AeroMexico flights. One bonus (625 miles) will be credited to each qualifying member account per goal scored by the Mexican National Soccer team.
The bonus miles promotion is valid for Club Premier Classic, Club Premier Gold, Club Premier Platinum, and Family Club Premier accounts. However, the promotion does not apply to Corporate Club Premier memberships.
All World Cup-related bonus miles earned will be credited to each member's loyalty programme account on 12th July 2006.
