AMD launches partner rewards program in India

The computer processor manufacturer AMD has recently launched a channel partner rewards programme in India - the 'Authentic AMD Associate' (nick-named the 'AAA') - to help gain more insight into its channel partners beyond the first tier.

The new AAA programme, designed, managed and operated by the Asian loyalty marketing consultancy SurfGold, will allow AMD to get a full '360 degree' view of its partners to help decision making processes; to reward partner purchases; and to offer partners the right levels of training, certification and marketing support.

The programme entitles registered member businesses to earn reward points upon purchasing eligible AMD products from authorised distributors. The programme also entitles members to participate in exclusive short-term promotions and events. Upon reaching a minimum threshold level of loyalty points, they receive a Visa Electron reward card that can be used as a standard debit card at any location where Visa electron is accepted.

The programme also presents AMD's channel partners with several programmes and tools that help them improve their performance and become more effective and empowered channel partners.

"The AAA programme is a partner benefits programme that will optimise ROI on AMD's channel marketing initiatives", said Siddharth Reddy, managing director for SurfGold India. "The whole programme is strategically crafted and we are positive that the programme will not only make our partner's businesses more profitable but also increase partner loyalty to a new level," added Vineet Arya, channel marketing manager for AMD.
