American Express and AOL Time Warner forge alliance
Amex cardholders will be able to redeem their Membership Rewards points for AOL Time Warner goods and services.
American Express and AOL Time Warner have forged a multi-year strategic marketing alliance in which the two companies will promote American Express Card usage and products across AOL Time Warner's outlets, while at the same time expanding the redemption options for American Express' Membership Rewards programme. The alliance consolidates previous long-standing agreements between a variety of American Express and AOL Time Warner divisions.
American Express products and services will be advertised in AOL Time Warner's media, including television, magazines and web sites. The range of AOL Time Warner's subscription services that accept American Express Cards will be expanded. AOL Time Warner will join Membership Rewards and its 9m+ members will be able to redeem their loyalty points for AOL Time Warner goods and services.
