Bank of Montreal runs Air Miles sweepstake
In Canada, BMO Bank of Montreal has launched a loyalty-based "Thanks a Million" Air Miles Holiday Contest for its customers, with a grand prize of 100,000 Air Miles being awarded in each of five regions (Western, Prairies, Central, Eastern and Quebec).
To put the grand prizes into context, 100,000 Air Miles is enough for fourteen round-trip flights to Paris, 35 digital cameras, or 1,000 music CDs. Fifty secondary prizes of 10,000 Air Miles will also be awarded regionally. The promotion runs until 31st December 2005, and is supported online through the bank's web site and by a national print advertising campaign.
Automatic entry All BMO Bank of Montreal customers with a debit or credit balance (excluding BMO Mosaik MasterCard) and whose account is in good standing, will automatically be included in the sweepstake (the draw for which will take place on 14th February 2006).
Through the Air Miles Rewards programme, customers of BMO can also earn reward miles on their investments, mortgages, purchases with their Mosaik MasterCard, and for personal and business banking activities. The programme itself allows collectors to earn leisure, entertainment, merchandise, travel and other lifestyle rewards by collecting Air Miles from over 100 brand-name sponsors throughout Canada (representing some 14,000 retail and service locations).
BMO Bank of Montreal entered into its partnership with Air Miles operator Loyalty Management Group and the Air Miles programme in 1992.
