Best Western launches Ride Rewards for Hog riders
Best Western has announced the launch of 'Gold Crown Club International Ride Rewards' - a themed frequent guest programme for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who stay at Best Western properties on a regular basis.
The new rewards programme is part of a multi-year agreement between Best Western and Harley-Davidson to provide Harley enthusiasts with new travel benefits.
Earning and burning Harley-Davidson owners and enthusiasts can register for the programme online. Members earn 10 points for every US$1 (or the Canadian dollar equivalent in Canada) spent on qualifying room rates, or 250 airline miles per qualifying stay, at any of the 4,200 Best Western hotels worldwide.
Ride Rewards members can then redeem their points toward a range of product and service awards, including Global Free Room Nights, merchandise, and dining, shopping and entertainment gift certificates. Ride Rewards members will also benefit from various promotions and bonuses year-round.
Preferred partnership Apart from launching the Ride Rewards programme, Best Western will also now serve as a 'Preferred Hotel Chain' for Harley-Davidson's Great Roads interactive web application. Using Microsoft's Virtual Earth technology, the application maps out a variety of picturesque US 'Great Roads' and shows all the Best Western hotels and Harley-Davidson dealerships along the way. Each property listing features hotel descriptions along with a directory of services and amenities.
When joining the Ride Rewards loyalty programme online, Harley-Davidson enthusiasts automatically receive Gold Elite status, which includes 10% bonus points on every Best Western stay, as well as the ability to purchase extra points for award redemptions. In addition, a 10% discount is available to those who book their Best Western reservation through that web site.
