NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES (April 12, 2023) -- In honor of Earth Day on April 22, Beyond Green, a global portfolio of planet Earth’s most sustainable hotels, has launched a series of Sustainable Adventures for travelers seeking a more purposeful way to explore the world. With a mission to make travel a force for good, social sustainability is at the heart of Beyond Green’s operations, with a dedication to embracing fundamental principles such as fair wages, gender equality, and protection of indigenous, local cultures.

Offering travelers a more intuitive way to find and book inspiring, impactful hotel experiences, each of the Beyond Green member properties are vetted according to over 50 sustainability indicators that align with global sustainable tourism standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. All members of the brand’s portfolio work tirelessly to protect biodiversity, celebrate cultural heritage, and improve local people’s livelihoods in 18 countries around the world, all while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

“Every day is Earth Day for Beyond Green. As climate change and other worldwide challenges increasingly threaten our planetary wellbeing, we need to collectively rethink the status quo and find solutions that help protect Earth for future generations,” said Nina Boys, Vice President of Sustainability, Beyond Green. “As travelers, we have the opportunity and responsibility to ensure that our explorations have a positive impact on the places that we visit and on the planet at large. Beyond Green helps conscious travelers select vetted properties that support local nature, culture, and community - which is one small action that each of us can take in making travel a force for good.”
