Chase launches Rewards Plus loyalty mall
Chase Card Services and Mall Networks have launched a new shopping rewards programme called 'Chase Rewards Plus', offering Chase's cardholders rewards for shopping with Mall Networks' portfolio of e-retail partners.
Through the Chase Rewards Plus programme, millions of Chase rewards cardmembers can earn unlimited bonus rewards and take advantage of special offers and discounts while shopping with a network of hundreds of online retailers.
The programme includes over 340 retailers, such as Blue Nile, Lands' End, jcp.com, OfficeDepot.com, Overstock.com, Orbitz.com, Sears.com and Travelocity.
Offers and discounts Apart from earning rewards for shopping with participating online retailers, Chase Rewards Plus also allows cardmembers to benefit from various special offers, discounts and promotions, which are to be updated regularly.
According to Gwenn Bezard, research director for independent research firm, Aite Group, "Given increasing competition and more informed consumers, banks and credit card issuers need to build compelling multi-faceted loyalty programmes to differentiate their offerings and improve customer profitability." Bezard feels that the new Chase Rewards Plus programme achieves this through its partnership with Mall Networks' online mall solution and network of retail loyalty partners.
Earning points Cardmembers earn their bonus rewards in the currency of their choice, whether points, miles or cash back, and there are no caps or limits on bonus rewards earned through the programme.
Cardmembers in some of Chase's other loyalty rewards programmes (including Chase Freedom) can also benefit from the online shopping experience through the Mall Networks-powered mall.
The online mall itself provides full search features (product and merchant searches), personalised recommendations and dynamically updated content.
