Citibank launches Malaysian multiple reward scheme

Following Citibank's latest ten-fold rewards programme in Thailand, its Malaysian credit card holders are also being given the chance to earn up to 500 million Rewards Points through a new short-term 'Guaranteed to Win' campaign.

Lasting until 31st January 2007, Citibank's Guaranteed to Win programme offers cardholders a way of earning large numbers of Rewards Points. By charging a minimum of 50 Ringgits (approx. US$13.70) on a single receipt on eight different occasions in a month, customers will be rewarded with 8-times Rewards Points on the average amount charged to the card during the month. Customers can potentially earn up to 20 or 50-times the usual number of Rewards Points by using the card 20 or 50 times in a month, respectively.

Consolidating spend This campaign is aimed at encouraging customers to consolidate all their purchases on their Citibank credit card, as well as rewarding existing loyal Citibank customers. The programme also applies to customers with other selected Citibank cards.

According to Vipin Agrawal, Cards Business Director, Citibank Berhad, "The Guaranteed to Win campaign is part of Citibank's goal to enhance and strengthen the relationship with our loyal customers by offering them practical and real rewards."

The Guaranteed to Win promotion is open to all Citibank Platinum, Gold, Clear, Silver, Cash Back, CitiBusiness, Choice and Celcom credit card customers. This programme applies to all retail purchases made using a qualifying card, excluding One Bill/Autopay, Easy Payment Plan, Flexi Payment Plan, Balance Transfer, Cash Advance and Loan On Phone transactions.
