Enterprise Rent-A-Car relaunches loyalty scheme
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has announced the launch of its new and improved 'Enterprise Plus' loyalty programme for regular car rental customers, recognising the company's most frequent renters with a range of rewards and free rental days.
With every qualifying rental, Enterprise Plus members earn points they can redeem anytime on free rentals of any available vehicle throughout Enterprise Rent-A-Car's network of more than 5,500 neighbourhood and airport locations in North America (including the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico).
Enterprise Plus is free to join, and is open to anyone at least 21 years old, including existing Enterprise Rent-A-Car loyalty programme members. Customers can enrol in the programme online, by calling Enterprise's Loyalty Member Services line, or through any rental agent at branches in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
Once enrolled and activated for points, members simply provide their membership number when booking a reservation online or over the phone, or have their membership number automatically applied to their reservation when they rent via Enterprise.ca.
As Enterprise Plus members rent more frequently, they can rise to Silver, Gold or Platinum status to gain access to even more reward options until the end of the next programme year. Each status level has its own unique set of benefits, such as bonus points and vehicle upgrades:
- Enterprise Plus (the entry level tier) provides simple points earned for each qualifying rental;
- The Silver tier offers a 10% points bonus with each qualifying rental, plus 1 free car-class upgrade certificate per programme year;
- The Gold tier offers a 15% points bonus with each qualifying rental, plus 2 free car-class upgrade certificates per programme year;
- The Platinum tier offers a 20% points bonus with each qualifying rental, plus 4 free car-class upgrade certificates per programme year.
Points do not expire as long as the member rents at least once every two years. Additional Enterprise Plus benefits include access to members-only check-ins at participating locations and to dedicated phone lines for expedited service, as well as special members-only offers through the programme's Email Extras e-newsletter.
