Fly Buys announces Marketing Awards 2010
Ten New Zealand companies have been recognised for their creativity and innovation in their campaigns, in the annual Fly Buys Marketing Awards.
According to Loyalty New Zealand's CEO, Lance Walker, "This year's calibre of entries was extraordinarily high. For example, New World Wellington won the title of Supreme winner as well as the awards for Customer Retention & Behaviour Change and the Best Use of Database for their Lifestyle Mailer."
The panel of judges - led by Rob Limb from RAPP - praised New World Wellington for its thoughtful, innovative, entrepreneurial and yet also analytical approach, noting that "The Lifestyle mailer exhibited extraordinary targeting, achieving in mail things that are usually only driven in email."

The Awards were presented at a gala dinner involving more than 100 guests from the 53 Fly Buys partners and their marketing teams and agencies, along Loyalty New Zealand's staff and representatives from the Marketing Association. This was the sixth time that the awards have been held, with previous Supreme Winners having included Liquorland, United Travel, Visique, New World Auckland and New World Wellington.
