Fly Buys loyalty programme to be revamped

Two joint venture partners in Loyalty Pacific - the company which manages Australia's Fly Buys loyalty programme - have announced an agreement involving an increase in investment to continue evolving and enhancing the programme.

Although Coles Myer and the National Australia Bank say they are not yet in a position to release precise details of the changes to be made to the Fly Buys loyalty programme, both companies agree that the revamp is being carried out with one factor foremost in mind: "The customer must be the winner".

Over 2 million households throughout Australia actively collect Fly Buys points, with over 7 million cards having been issued to members to date.

According to joint a statement from both venture partners, full details of new benefits and features to be offered to Fly Buys members will be announced over the next three months.

"An enhanced Fly Buys is an important part of Coles Myer's programme to provide a comprehensive offering for all its customers," noted Jon Wood, emerging businesses managing director for Coles Myer.

"Together with our partners at the National Australia Bank, we will be revamping the programme to offer customers more points, better rewards, and other benefits," he added.
