Flybe launches Rewards4All frequent flyer programme

The UK-based low-cost regional airline Flybe has announced a new frequent flyer programme called 'Rewards4All'. The new programme, which is to be launched "soon", was created to provide an automated passenger rewards mechanism.

Many business travellers who fly on legacy carriers do so because they earn rewards, according to Flybe, which designed its new programme to help those passengers make the transition to a low-cost carrier for regional flights.

Earning points and benefits Through the programme, Flybe says it will offer a full range of services for frequent business flyers, including dedicated check-in desks, free seat assignments, VIP lounge access, and ticket flexibility. The programme also targets frequent leisure passengers. Even those flying on a £19.99 budget ticket will be eligible to earn points through the programme.

Rewards will be earned at the rate of 1 point per Economy one-way ticket; 2 points per Economy Return ticket or Economy Plus one-way ticket; and 4 points per Economy Plus return ticket.

Members will earn points regardless of how they book, whether through travel agents, corporate bookers, call centres, or online.

Redeeming points Redemptions can be conducted online, and points can be redeemed either for free flights or for free airport lounge access.

Only 16 points will be required for a free return flight (e.g. 4 Economy Plus returns or 8 Economy returns). Or for 20 points members can gain one year's free access to Flybe's VIP executive airport lounges (e.g. 5 Economy Plus returns or 10 Economy returns).

According to Mike Rutter, Flybe's chief commercial officer, "Rewards4All should be a big attraction for second home owners, city-breakers, and those who make regular trips to visit friends or family."
