The Greek department store Notos Galleries has recently launched a new customer loyalty programme called 'Notos Galleries More', based on the GraphiCard thermal loyalty card and CRM platform from Visible Results.
Since launching at the flagship store in Athens four months ago, the programme has been received well by customers, and has now been extended to the three other Notos properties in Northern and Central Greece. Customer response was so enthusiastic that the programme has achieved double its targeted enrolment rate during the launch period, and 50% of Notos sales are currently linked to the card.
To launch its new loyalty programme, Notos Galleries partnered with Enorasis Analytics Ltd (a UK based consultancy that represents Visible Results in Greece) to design and implement the system.
The programme uses Visible Results' thermo-chromic flexible plastic card, the GraphiCard, which means that the card can be printed and re-printed with customised and personalised messages, including real-time loyalty points information, promotions, advertising, gaming, and competitions.
Points and offers
Each time a member shops and presents their Notos Galleries More card, the card is swiped, points are added automatically, and the member's new points balance is immediately updated onto the face of the card. Other images and messages are also dynamically updated on the card with each transaction.
According to Mr Haris Makrykostas, commercial manager for Notos Galleries, "We are sure this is the most efficient customer loyalty programme we have had, as we can now target our clients on a one-to-one basis if needed. Customer loyalty has increased and, most importantly, our customers and staff are happy."
Notos Galleries now forecasts that sales will increase by 10% compared to the same period last year - an overall 22% improvement on the estimate for sales made without the card. As a result, additional GraphiCard installations are planned as Notos expands with an increased number of suburban outlets opening in Southern Greece this year.
