HotelPoints incentives launch in Ireland

In Ireland, the Win/Win group has launched a new company and incentive voucher programme called HotelPoints, to act as a hotel promotion tool for over 250 Irish hotels that have already signed up. HotelPoints supplies businesses with Irish hotel room vouchers for use as incentives to reward loyal customers.

Typical users of the HotelPoints programme include companies with a large customer base, such as telecommunications companies, retail brands, banks and insurance companies. According to James Lenehan, managing director for Win/Win, "In our first year of operation we expect to see more than 500,000 people receive a HotelPoints voucher across the country."

Expanding already The HotelPoints incentive programme has already attracted a number of clients since its launch in January 2006. The early success of the programme led the company to accelerate plans to enter the UK market as well. Lenehan said: "We are interested in talking to a number of potential customers in the UK banking and telecommunications sectors. The programme is very portable, and is a low cost, high value method for companies with large customer bases to generate and maintain customer loyalty."

Reward options The programme can either provide fully paid hotel breaks or discounted hotel vouchers. In the first programme launched by HotelPoints, customers are able to take a two night stay including dinner for a fraction of the published rate.

Lenehan added: "The Irish Hotel Room Promotion is the first of our programmes to be rolled out, but we are also looking at a range of other aligned products to be launched later on."
