H&R Block joins SPC Card to reward students
In Canada, a new partnership offers free SPC Cards to students choosing H&R Block for their tax preparation and the chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to a pop concert.
H&R Block Canada and SPC Card have partnered to deliver free SPC Cards to students choosing H&R Block for their tax preparation, and to offer the chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to a Fall Out Boy concert somewhere in Canada or the US.
Participating students must activate their SPC Card at a dedicated web site, when they will be entered to win a trip to see the multi-platinum artist at a secret destination.
Qualifying for the offer Entrants must be either full-time college or university, or full-time high school students to qualify. Students who use participating H&R Block locations for their tax preparation will automatically receive a free SPC Card.
Contests will be open to all eligible Canadian residents. Complete rules and regulations as well as eligibility guidelines are on the web site, which will be used for other contests and games as well. Students can win prizes by playing games there, or visit a participating SPC retailer and have a photo taken while holding their SPC Card. Photos can be uploaded to the website for a chance to win a prize.
An SPC Card can potentially save a student hundreds of dollars a year through repeat, instant discounts at more than 100 national retailers such as Aldo, Athlete's World, Bentley, Bluenotes, Buffalo, Burger King, Esprit, FCUK, Foot Locker, GNC, Guess, Jack Astor's, Kernels, Levi's, Payless ShoeSource, Roots, Second Cup, Sport Chek, Transit and Xcetera.
