iPoints online coalition signs three new UK partners
Three more online retailers have join the UK-based online coalition loyalty programme, iPoints, including online card seller MoonPig.com, personal introductions service DateTheUK.com, and fitness equipment provider HomeFitnessDirect.com - all of which bring iPoints into new vertical markets.
Customers of MoonPig.com, DateTheUK.com and HomeFitnessDirect.co.uk earn iPoints based on their total spend with each, or with any other iPoints partner. They can redeem their iPoints for a variety of gifts including magazine subscriptions, home entertainments, flowers, electronic goods, designer jewellery, holidays and even flying lessons.
Growth benefits The three new partners add to the existing portfolio of retail partners, which includes companies such as market research specialists GfK NOP and DVD seller ChoicesUK.com. Geraldine Tosh, managing director for iPoints.co.uk, believes that the three new partners "will all see incremental growth as a result of increases in basket size, frequency of shop, and interaction among existing customers."
According to Nick Jenkins, managing director for MoonPig.com, "MoonPig joined iPoints because it already has an extensive membership, and MoonPig cards make a great addition to the iPoints reward catalogue. MoonPig expects that exposure to the iPoints community will lead to significant extra sales, and is an effective way of rewarding its own customers for their loyalty."
Background The iPoints.co.uk loyalty programme is operated by iPoints Ltd, a direct marketing and loyalty services provider.
