The Jamaica Observer reports that the GK Value Rewards coalition loyalty programme, operated by GraceKennedy Limited, one of the Caribbean's largest financial services and retail conglomerates, has grown into a $40-million initiative with 37,000 active members and issued reward points valued at over $20 million. Thats a strong start that proves the durability of the coalition reward programme model.

The GK Value Rewards programme, which runs on the New Zealand and US-based RewardPaths platform, was launched on February 14, 2015. According to the Observer article, members of the GK Value Rewards programme have accessed such rewards as: phone credits, movie tickets, retail gift vouchers, dining experiences, spa packages and resort day passes. Members can also donate their points to the GraceKennedy Foundation and gift points to other members.

A recent company survey revealed that 65% of programme members were satisfied with it; over 97% of enrolled members plan to remain active, and 85% would recommend it to a friend or family member. As for programme partners, a recent company news release said partners are pleased with the increase in transactions as a result of their participation in the GK Value Rewards programme and are looking forward to continued growth.
