Jet Privilege partners with two credit card issuers

In India, Jet Airways' Jet Privilege frequent flyer programme has entered into a partnership with two multi-national banks, Barclays Bank and Deutsche Bank, to offer customers the option to convert their credit card loyalty points into JPMiles.

According to Jet Airways, these new loyalty partnerships are designed to give credit card holders with both banks more redemption options. Such partnerships between credit cards and frequent flyer programmes are often successful in driving increased spending on the cards and increased redemptions for the airline.

Points exchange ratios Barclaycard holders need to earn a minimum of 500 Barclaycard Points to be eligible for the JPMiles conversion programme, after which points can be converted into JPMiles in batches of 1450 Barclaycard Points. For each batch of points, Jet Privilege members gain 500 JPMiles.

Similarly, Deutsche Bank credit card holders need to earn a minimum of 250 Deutsche Bank Reward Points to convert reward points into JPMiles. Points can be converted in batches of 100, with each 100 points becoming 100 JPMiles.

Credit card points from both banks are converted into JPMiles, which can be redeemed toward free flights on Jet Airways or any of the programme's twelve airline partners.
