Kobie unveils discounted online gift card mall
The US-based loyalty marketing and technology agency Kobie Marketing has launched a 'Gift Card Gallery' featuring an online mall that offers discounted gift cards for top brand retailers.
The mall can serve either as a stand-alone loyalty rewards platform, or as an additional benefit for an existing programme, offering rewards programme members significant discounts on the cash value of retail gift cards.
Kobie says it developed the Gift Card Gallery to help differentiate its clients' rewards programmes by providing greater value for their members.
The gallery features over 40 brand-name merchants including Macy's, Chili's, Kohl's, Outback Steakhouse, Sears, Lands' End, Staples and the Home Shopping Network among others.
Kobie integrates the Gift Card Gallery portal into its clients' existing web sites, meaning that consumers can visit the client's existing web site, select a discounted gift card, and then use their debit or credit card to make their purchase. Kobie handles all the gift card fulfillment and customer care service.
Verizon, one of Kobie's existing clients, was the first to launch the Gift Card Gallery to 9 million of its online customers.
