At this point, you may have been wondering why we've written a few pieces on the "Science of Happiness" and have been promoting the World Happiness Summit on our website. Well it's because creating a positive workplace culture and increasing employee wellness and happiness is important, really.

Typically at the Wise Marketer we're concerned with and focused on customer experience, customer centric marketing, loyalty programs, loyalty strategy, and all the other good things that go into creating a loyal customer. But sometimes we forget that a critical bridge to delivering great loyalty programs and strategies are the human components (i.e. employees) that at the end of the day, are responsible for communicating board-room concepts to the customer. Happy employees will communicate your brand's message in a better way which will positively impact your brand's overall customer loyalty.

Importance of Happiness in the Workplace

That is why it's so important that workplace happiness, awareness about workplace burnout, and overall employee wellness should be a priority — even in your loyalty program planning! Creating a happy workplace can be paramount to your brand's success.

With that said, here is an incredible interview with Karen Guggenheim. She is the Executive Director & Founder of WOHASU, or World Happiness Summit, and is leading the organization of the event set for March 13-15, 2020 in Miami, Florida.

Please give it a listen and you will understand why we decided to cover this topic.
