Vietnam Airlines, the flag airline of Vietnam and the primary carrier in South East Asia, has revealed that it is collaborating with Comarch (WSE: CMR), a global provider of software-defined products and services for driving business efficiency, on reshaping its frequent flyer proposition called “Lotusmiles” program.
Since May 2021, Vietnam Airlines has been using the For Travel Edition of Comarch Loyalty Management (CLM) as the new driving force of its Lotusmiles program, which has nearly 4 million members and counting. This is a modern platform that allows Vietnam Airlines to run immersive loyalty programs, create personalized product offers and build stronger relationships with its clients.
With the implementation of the CLM system to improve its frequent flyer program, Vietnam Airlines is taking another step towards its goal of becoming a 5-star and digital airline.
Mr. Nguyen Sy Thanh, Director of Lotusmiles, Vietnam Airlines said:
“Back in 2019, when we were in the process of finding a new partner, we found Comarch’s experience and product portfolio to be very impressive. Hence, we decided to use the company’s loyalty management platform to revamp and improve our ‘Lotusmiles’ program. We are happy to say that thanks to its many cutting-edge functionalities, the CLM platform has exceeded our expectations – and now we can provide our customers with new, amazing experiences.”
Mr. Piotr Kozłowski, Vice President of Consulting, Airline/Travel Loyalty at Comarch said:
“We are happy and excited that we’re involved in the process of refining the already awe-inspiring ‘Lotusmiles’ program. This is the kind of project that brings business and technological innovation together, making both of our companies reach new levels of growth and success. We are sure that our loyalty management platform will help Vietnam Airlines reach its goals and gain a competitive advantage.”
In 2019, Vietnam Airlines started the cooperation with Comarch while looking for a new loyalty software supplier with many years of experience in carrying out successful loyalty projects for various airlines and travel companies.
Vietnam Airlines’ goal was to find not only a vendor but also a business partner that would work together with the company on bringing innovation and value at every stage of customer interaction. After conducting a detailed loyalty market analysis, the flag carrier of Vietnam decided to work with Comarch.
The CLM system was voted Best Supplier Innovation at last year’s Loyalty & Awards 2020 in Vancouver, BC. Besides Vietnam Airlines, the platform is fully integrated with the loyalty programs of nearly 20 other airlines which, just like Vietnam Airlines, are members of the SkyTeam alliance.
