Maritz UK employee loyalty scheme expands

The employee motivation specialist Maritz has signed up two new brands for its EY ("Exclusively Yours") staff reward and incentive programme in the United Kingdom.

HMV, a music, DVD and games specialist, and Waterstones, a specialist bookseller, now bring the total number of EY retail partners to 30.

Employee motivator Used by Maritz corporate clients as part of incentive and motivation schemes, the EY card (based on debit card technology) works in partnership with American Express, enabling users to redeem the value stored on their card either in high street retail outlets or online.

RAC (the Royal Automobile Club) patrol members will be among the first to benefit from the range of thirty retailers when the company's nationwide EY card reward programme is launched on 1st September 2006.

Programme goals The Exclusively Yours card programme integrates five key requirements:

  1. To establish role clarity and desired behaviour.
  2. To incorporate an established vision and strategy.
  3. To implement tools and training.
  4. To provide regular measurement and feedback.
  5. Reward and recognition.
