Merchants offered trial of gift card/loyalty system

Preferred Market Solutions has launched a new white label 'plug and go' gift card and loyalty system called PatronFlex and is offering businesses a free pilot programme for three months, including a 50-card customised starter pack.

PatronFlex allows small to medium sized businesses to run a customisable gift card and loyalty management system with minimal costs (in fact there are no initial costs except the shipping fees to get the cards to the merchant).

Brett Perlman, co-founder of Preferred Market Solutions, was disarmingly honest about the new scheme: "We've introduced PatronFlex as an incentive to entice merchants to try our products and services. We are confident that a small investment in their businesses will foster significant growth in our own."

Try before you buy The theory behind the launch of this promotional programme is that once merchants see for themselves what a gift card and loyalty system can do for their business, they will simply want to continue long-term. However, merchants participating in the programme are still free to step out of it at any time.

Fellow founder, Chris Sylvestri, added: "We released the programme in time for the holiday season, to give businesses the chance to get started with gift cards in time, and enjoy their share of the holiday gift card sales."

Options PatronFlex runs on a standard PC, as long as it has a continuous internet connection either via cable modem or DSL services. Included in the trial pack, merchants are given three months of gift card and loyalty processing services and 50 gift cards (customised with their company name, address and telephone number). The cards can also sport the merchant's own choice from a range of 30 graphic images.

The Preferred Patron Loyalty package, also included with the system, also provides the merchants with a loyalty marketing, customer tracking, and problem management/resolution programme.

Post-trial After the three month trial period, merchants can buy in for US$39.00 per month, which includes the first 500 transactions each month (charged at US$0.15 each after that).
