MetaReward expands eBay Anything Points again

The online rewards and loyalty company MetaReward (part of Experian Consumer Direct) has signed an agreement to expand eBay's 'Anything Points' loyalty programme to include additional point earning opportunities for eBay members.

The eBay Anything Points loyalty programme awards points to eBay members for purchasing items through the eBay web site or completing offers from eBay's partners. eBay members can spend their Anything Points on auction items on the eBay site, or exchange them for other loyalty currencies such as airline miles.

MetaReward works with eBay to integrate partners into the Anything Points programme, and provides the technology platform necessary to award Anything Points earned from partners. Utilising the MetaReward platform, eBay distributes Anything Points from dozens of partners that have already integrated with the MetaReward platform.

"MetaReward's platform and large base of partners have helped make the Anything Points programme more valuable for our members," commented Scott Mencken, manager of eBay's Anything Points programme. "Our relationship with MetaReward has allowed us to offer a greater number and variety of point earning opportunities."

MetaReward develops online customer acquisition and loyalty programmes, and operates a partner network for web publishers, as well as its own proprietary consumer sites (such as NetFlip.com, FreeGiftCentral.com, MovieTicketSource.com, MisterPoints.com, and ExpertsOnCredit.com). The company's parent, Experian Consumer Direct, is the online marketing business arm of the information solutions company, Experian.
