MyPoints.com offers career centre for members
Internet direct marketing firm, MyPoints.com, is to launch a job seeking and career management centre as an extra benefit for its online loyalty programme members. The facility's job seeking features use technology from Talentology.com.
Talentology is being integrated into the MyPoints Career Centre, along with point earning opportunities both at launch time and on an ongoing basis. The profiling and matching technology allows users to detail their industry experience and skills, work history, education, training, credentials and certifications in order to find a compatible employment opportunity.
MyPoints programme members are to receive 25 points for registering with Talentology.com, and another 1,000 points for every employer interview they accept and attend.
"We know the career centre will be a much-used offering in today's economic climate," said Stefan De Cota, senior vice president of marketing for MyPoints.com. "To provide our members with the ability to manage their job hunting and career planning is in keeping with our corporate mission of offering relevant services to our 10 million-plus members."
The MyPoints loyalty programme uses an opt-in membership database, providing advertisers with a suite of targeted media products including HTML-enhanced e-mail and dynamically served web site offers.
