Nectar adds new retailers to eStores, ready for Christmas
In the UK, the Nectar coalition loyalty programme has greatly expanded the list of retail partners for its eStores online shopping rewards portal, to help shoppers earn extra loyalty points from their Christmas shopping.
With the addition of an array of new eStores retailers, the portal now offers Nectar members a choice over 160 major online brands from which points can be collected with every purchase.
Partners for Christmas The new e-tailers include well known brands such as Mothercare, Wallis, Waterstones, and Reebok. Other online partners that Nectar's operator, LMG, believes to be popular Christmas shopping destinations include All Saints, The Body Shop, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Ernest Jones, Figleaves.com, Flying Flowers, H Samuel, Hotel Chocolat, Knickerbox, La Senza, Office, Superdrug, and The White Company.
Among the portal's other retail partners are Apple Store, B&Q, CD WOW!, Comet, Dixons, eXhilaration, Field & Trek, Firebox.com, Game, HMV.com, I Want One of Those.com, Jessops, Kitbag.com, 118Golf, PixMania, PurelyGadgets.com, Republic, Sky, Sportsshoes.com, A Quarter Of, Dell, Early Learning Centre, Evans Cycles, Game Seek, Hamleys, JD Sports, PC World, Toys R Us and Woolworths.
Rewarding for consumers For shopping with most of the retail partners, Nectar eStores offers programme members 2 Nectar points for every £1 spent, although a few of the online partners offer different earning rates. There are also a range of double and triple points offers available.
On a separate note, the Canadian loyalty marketing organisation, Aeroplan Income Fund, has this week announced that it is to buy Nectar's operator, Loyalty Management Group (LMG). For all the details, see The Wise Marketer's news article (4th December 2007) - click here.
