NetLedger launches Oracle-based online CRM application

A new online CRM application that automates front-office customer interaction has been announced by NetLedger, makers of the Oracle 'Small Business Suite'. The new system handles marketing, sales force automation, customer support, and account management.

The new application, NetCRM, contains online sales order management, allowing businesses to sell and track products and services online. Its marketing automation features, by integrating with customer purchase history, mean that campaigns can target very specific customer segments.

The application manages marketing campaigns from start to finish, using templates and e-mail, and performing results measurement and ROI analysis.

Cost saving automation The system uses knowledge management technology to provide customers with self service facilities; Its NetAnswers module allows customers to search an online knowledge base and find answers to their questions without having to telephone for support.

Recent information from Forrester Research estimates a 33:1 cost saving ratio when customers opt for self-service instead of telephone interaction.

NetCRM also manages partner relationships, through its Partner Centre, which allows strategic sales partners to view their leads, track orders, and submit and view support cases.

Zach Nelson, COO of NetLedger, explained, "Our order management functionality, combined with integrated marketing, sales and support technology, gives small and mid-size businesses a complete CRM solution. And our customers can easily upgrade to an integrated suite that combines front-office CRM with back-office accounting."
