Nevada fashion retailer launches Privileges Club
The Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas has launched a frequent shopper programme for Nevada residents, called 'Privileges Club'. Local consumers can join the club without charge, and benefit from special perks at the chain's 100+ specialty and designer clothing outlets.
Upon joining the Club, shoppers receive a Privileges Club Card that automatically gives them US$10 shopping certificate and 100 bonus points. Other benefits awarded upon joining the club include a Fashion Outlets tote bag, free use of the Shopper Shuttle bus service from Las Vegas to Fashion Outlets, a coupon book (bearing US$800 worth of savings in total).
Earning and burning As a Privileges Club member, local consumers can earn 1 point for each US$1 spent at any of Fashion Outlets' retail stores. Whenever 250 Privilege Points are earned, a points certificate is awarded.
Club members also benefit from priority notifications about sales, promotions and store events, and they are automatically entered to win a Privileges Shopping Spree, which is an annual sweepstake that includes US$1,000 in Fashion Outlets Gift Certificates, a round-trip limousine ride to Fashion Outlets from any Nevada residence, a one-night stay at Primm Valley Resorts, and dinner for two at GP's Steakhouse.
Redeeming points According to marketing director, Nancy Marcellus, the point certificates (each worth 250 points) are redeemable for a variety of free goods and services, such as massages, room nights and tourist attraction rides at Primm Valley Resorts, lunches, Fashion Outlets canvas shoulder bags, Terrible's Gas Cards, or lessons in diamond quality, fashion quality care, or layering scents and perfumes.
Membership can be obtained by telephone, online, at customer service desks, or by mail. Non-residents are also able to join the programme, although a US$10 membership fee is charged.
