New loyalty card rewards healthy eating

A new implementation of the thermochromic 'GraphiCard' loyalty card (by Visible Results) has been rolled out in Florida, by EVOS Food Creations Inc., which operates 'healthy menu' quick service restaurants in the region.

Through the new Healthy Rewards programme, every dollar a member spends in any of the restaurants earns points that can be redeemed for food and drinks, including sandwiches, Airfries, value meals, and fruit smoothies. And when they enrol in the programme, members receive a free upsizing on their next visit. The programme also offers chances to win prizes through a 'Match 3 & Win' promotion. The card also provides a gaming component, and a messaging component where you can target messages to programme members.

"We were looking for a way to honour our loyal clients," said EVOS founder, Michael Jeffers. "GraphiCard is the only loyalty programme I have seen to date that offers the member the ability to view their points, and points needed for the next reward level."

The member's card is simply inserted into a terminal at the point-of-sale, where the thermal process re-writes the front of the card to display their points total, along with other personalised messages including personalised offers, details of special promotions and sales, advertising messages, and details of instant win games. Each time the card is inserted into the terminal a new message appears.
