New loyalty club for LinkShare marketing network

The operator of the 'LinkShare Club' performance-based online marketing network, LinkShare Corporation, has unveiled a new loyalty programme for its network of affiliate web sites. The programme is designed to serve as a platform for online merchants partnering with LinkShare to drive incremental sales and foster loyalty among their sales and advertising partners.

Among the club partners participating in the programme's first initiative, 'Earn More in Q4', are Avon, Coldwater Creek,, Sharper Image, and Sierra Trading Post. The initial multi-faceted promotion aims to boost revenues and drive incremental sales during the fourth quarter 2003.

LinkShare plans to roll out frequent promotions that benefit merchants and their affiliate partners. Affiliates who actively participate in LinkShare Club promotions will earn credit toward their status in the club, in which affiliates work their way through three levels of status and recognition, each bringing greater benefits depending upon the affiliate's performance in the club's promotions.

"The programme will benefit both affiliates and their merchant partners," said Stephen Messer, chairman and CEO for LinkShare Corporation.

Larisa Hall, vice president of marketing for, added: "This programme gives our affiliates additional incentives and earning potential at a crucial time of the year."

Earn More in Q4 is a turnkey offering for merchants, with LinkShare's proprietary tracking system handling the affiliate-facing marketing and back-end functions. This first initiative will run until the end of the holiday season 2003.
