RewardsNow rolls out 3 new loyalty schemes
Loyalty programme provider RewardsNow has announced the launch and roll-out of loyalty programmes for three new clients during the second quarter of 2014, highlighting the variety of loyalty programmes that financial institutions are now implementing.
RewardsNow worked with Saratoga's Community Federal Credit Union, based in Saratoga Springs, New York, to convert the credit union's existing credit and debit card loyalty programme to the RewardsNow platform. In addition to members earning points from the credit union every time they use their debit or credit cards, members can also earn bonus points from merchants when they shop online using their credit union cards at retailers included in ShoppingFLING, RewardsNow's online shopping mall.
Saratoga's loyalty programme also includes the CouponCents programme, RewardsNow's discount and coupons programme where members can get exclusive savings to local retailers and national brands. Members also have more choices available to them for redeeming their points. They can now use their points for merchandise, travel, electronic gift cards, music downloads, charitable contributions, for products or services at the credit union such as for stop payment fees, reordering cheques, and even for tickets to the credit union's annual meeting and dinner event.
In May, NAPUS Federal Credit Union in Alexandria, Virginia, also converted its credit card rewards programme to the RewardsNow platform. For their members, one of the best features of the new programme is the wider selection of redemption options.
With the new programme, members can perform redemptions with as few as 750 points and can use their points for brand name merchandise, gift cards, travel, and downloadable items like movies, music, and audio books.
The NAPUS Member Choice Rewards programme also includes the merchant funded online shopping mall, ShoppingFLING, as well as CouponCents, the discounts and coupons programme.
At the same time, RewardsNow also worked in partnership with CO-OP Financial Services to launch a new debit card rewards programme for Goldenwest Credit Union of Ogden, Utah.
Members of Goldenwest CU now have the opportunity to earn points when they use their debit card for their everyday purchases as well as the opportunity to earn bonus points when they shop through ShoppingFLING. With ShoppingFLING, Goldenwest members earn eRewards programme points faster and get their rewards sooner.
