Sears gift cards offered to corporate market

Gift cards for US-based Sears department stores are soon to be offered as an incentive reward through Gift Certificate Center's business-to-business web site, PremiereChoiceAward.com. The site already deals with over 400 leading US retailers, catalogues, restaurants, travel providers, and entertainment companies.

The Premiere Choice Award web site sells incentive awards that can be used as incentives for clients or to motivate employees. The awards can then be redeemed online for gift certificates and gift cards for the 400+ merchants that Gift Certificate Center (GCC) has partnered with. In addition to the new Sears partnership, other notable reward partners include Amazon.com and The Home Depot.

The online ordering system also allows GCC's clients to personalise the awards they are giving, using the recipient's name, a customisable message, and their company logo. A variety of award styles are available, and the awards do not expire. Business clients are also given access to an online account management centre that helps simplify the tracking and reporting of rewards.

"The addition of a well-known national merchant like Sears will reassure buyers that they are giving a reward that will be valued by the recipient, and the availability of Sears gift cards will increase our product's appeal," said GCC's Courtney Cardwell.

And, according to Jim Atten, manager of corporate gift cards for Sears, the partnership presents a good opportunity for the department store itself, as partnering with GCC will allow the company to deepen its penetration into the growing business-to-business channel.
