Shop At Home relaunches to add e-shopper rebates

The retail web portal Shop At Home (through its ShopAtHomeSelect.com and ShopAtHome.com web sites) is targeting consumers who want money-saving opportunities, catalogues and cash rebates, according to operator Belcaro Group.

The new portal combines the features of the company's existing e-commerce web sites (ShopAtHome.com and ShopAtHomeSelect.com) which offer catalogues, special offers, and cash-back rebates from over 1,000 merchants, as well as downloadable reminder software to help customers take advantage of time-sensitive rebates.

According to Belcaro Group's president and CEO, Marc Braunstein, "Based on consumer feedback, we've integrated the cash-back rebate functions available at ShopAtHomeSelect.com, the catalogue request functions of ShopAtHome.com, and the coupons and special offers of both sites into one new shopping portal."

Pay for performance According to Pam Jeffords, vice president of sales for ShopAtHome.com, the company also offers a pay-for-performance model for its merchant partners. With more than 1.5 million ShopAtHome.com customers, there is good potential for merchants of all sizes to generate new business using the system.

The new portal is the latest stage in an evolutionary process that began in 1986, with Belcaro Group's printed 'catalogue of catalogues' (which is still printed today). Braunstein changed launched the catalogue on the web in 1996, with the first ShopAtHome.com catalogue site. In 2002, ShopAtHomeSelect.com was launched to provide the coupons and rebates that consumers were then asking for.
