Siebel rolls out low-cost hosted CRM for Everyone
Siebel Systems has unveiled its latest product strategy to help companies meet customer relationship management (CRM) requirements more quickly, easily, and affordably.
The strategy, 'CRM for Everyone', encompasses industry-specific CRM products, a new hosted CRM offering, new analytics applications, and new business integration solutions. Major components of the system, which aims to reduce total cost of ownership, include Siebel 7.7 (the firm's enterprise CRM suite), Analytics 7.7 (a suite of customer analytics applications), and CRM OnDemand (a CRM offering which combines hosted and on-premise models).
Vertical markets In terms of industry specific options, the Siebel 7.7 system includes a CRM console for branch banking, customer loyalty management, store-and-forward wireless support for mobile sales and service, and service life-cycle management.
The new CRM for Everyone web-based CRM application is to be jointly sold, marketed, delivered, developed, and hosted by Siebel and IBM. Designed for seamless integration and information flow between hosted and on-premise CRM installations, the system also accommodates companies with small IT budgets, as well as those with more basic CRM requirements.
