Fill your cup with mindful meditation techniques
With the recent launch of Starbucks new winter menu, which is all about helping customers find the right choices for their lifestyle and taste preferences, Starbucks invites customers to pair their new favorite winter beverage with mindfulness this season. Starbucks and Headspace are giving coffee lovers access to a curated series of bespoke meditations meant to create a more intentionally restorative coffee break. The series is narrated by Headspace Director of Meditation, Eve Lewis, who speaks to topics like engaging your senses by focusing and smelling the aroma of your coffee or taking a screen break and enjoying a guided meditation on your daily coffee walk.
Continuing to break the stigma around mental health
In 2019, Starbucks took a step towards breaking the stigma around mental health with a new commitment, building on our history of pioneering innovative benefits for partners. Since then, Starbucks has introduced several new mental health benefits including a free Headspace subscription for partners, as well as a completely reimagined mental healthcare benefit in partnership with Lyra Health that provides all U.S. partners and eligible family members access to 20 free mental health therapy or coaching sessions a year.
