Starwood multiplies points for longer-term guests

Starwood is providing its loyalty guests with more opportunities and rewards for their travel during 2010, with the hotel group's Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) loyalty programme announcing the launch of a double, triple or quadruple Starpoints promotion.

The bonus points multiple awarded to SPG members depends on the number of nights stayed. The longer guests stay, the more they earn. For example:

  1. For stays of one or two nights, members earn double Starpoints;
  2. For stays of three nights, members earn triple Starpoints;
  3. For stays of four or more nights, members earn quadruple Starpoints.

The More Nights = More Rewards promotion includes stays between 5th January and 15th April 2010, and there is no limit on the number of Starpoints that members can earn during the promotional period.

The offer is available at more than 850 properties worldwide, with participating brands including St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, W, Westin, Le Meridien, Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, and the recently launched Aloft, and Element.

To take part, SPG members must register online before 31st March 2010.
