The Carphone Warehouse joins Nectar Business

Members of the UK-based B2B coalition loyalty programme, Nectar Business, now have the opportunity to earn and redeem points for landline, broadband and mobile telephone packages from The Carphone Warehouse.

The mobile phone provider's B2B arm, Business Solutions from Carphone Warehouse, has joined Nectar Business, offering points and redemptions not only for telephone services but also for website design, web hosting, and security software.

Redemption options Redemption options include new office equipment (such as Bluetooth headsets, laptops, and printers), or even taking employees on a Eurostar trip. Other ideas suggested by Nectar Business for business owners include a relaxing day at a spa, or on a case of award-winning wines.

According to Phil Haslam, managing director for Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse, there are three main ways in which The Carphone Warehouse stands to benefit from its new membership of Nectar Business:

  1. Attracting new customers who already collect Nectar Points;
  2. Retaining existing customer who are already collectors;
  3. Encouraging existing customers to buy additional services.

Affinity opportunities According to Charlie Humphreys, head of Nectar Business at Loyalty Management UK (the programme's operator), "Almost everyone has a landline, mobile, or broadband internet access, and now Nectar Business collectors can be rewarded for all their communications expenditure. There's also huge scope for The Carphone Warehouse to work with our other sponsors."

The Carphone Warehouse currently operates more than 2,200 stores in eleven countries.
