Vesdia signs new reward network partners

Vesdia Corporation, a provider of multi-channel merchant networks and shopping incentive services, has announced the signing of several new restaurant chains to its merchant rewards network.

Restaurants including Buca di Beppo, Fresh2Order and selected Quiznos and Domino's Pizza franchisees are joining existing partners such as Hard Rock Cafe and Claim Jumper Restaurants by participating in loyalty programmes run by Vesdia.

The network gives restaurant owners throughout the US a new opportunity to connect with engaged customers who want to earn rewards when they dine out. When members of Vesdia's various loyalty programmes dine at participating restaurants, they earn rewards in their preferred currency (such as airline miles, loyalty points, or cash-back).

In turn, restaurant partners - along with other merchants in Vesdia's network - can use these programmes to acquire new customers and to help increase spending among existing customers.

The latest national dining chain to join, Buca di Beppo, allows programme members to earn rewards for Italian meals, and the chain hopes to see good results from its new venture into loyalty rewards.

The network provides its merchant partners with a pay-for-performance marketing model, providing a cost-effective way of both acquiring customers and increasing sales. According to Shaun Krusmark, director of gift cards sales for Claim Jumper Restaurants, the chain has been a Vesdia merchant partner since 2008 and has already reported a positive ROI as well as a higher average transaction value from loyalty programme members.

Vesdia's loyalty programmes collectively claim some 60 million members.
