The UK mobile phone service operator, Virgin Mobile, has launched its new 'Flash It' loyalty rewards programme, offering a surprisingly high 10% instant loyalty reward for purchases made in the firm's megastores.
The programme is very simple in its structure, and is expected to find favour with consumers as a result. When any purchase (of 10 or more) is made in a Virgin Megastore or Megastore Xpress, the customer simply 'flashes' their Virgin branded mobile telephone handset in order to receive a reward. An immediate 1 airtime voucher is awarded for every 10 spent.
The 10% airtime rewards apply to all purchases in Virgin's megastores, including music, DVDs, games, and videos. The programme is aimed at making redemption as achievable as possible, avoiding the sometimes hard-to-attain reward structures the Virgin says can be seen in other loyalty programmes.
