Visa Middle East launches summer travel rewards
Visa Middle East has launched a summer travel promotion, offering cardholders a range of travel and dining offers in conjunction with a range of international partners. Cardholders going on holiday could also win back their travel expenses (up to US$5,000) by using their Visa or Visa Electron card while on holiday.
The summer promotion runs during the months of June, July and August 2007. According to Stephen Coakley, marketing communications manager for Visa International in the Middle East, Visa's latest summer travel promotion was designed to promote Visa card usage both in the Middle East and in other countries, and to strengthen customer relationships by providing added value.
Regional appeal Coakley explained: "With a growing number of GCC travellers visiting holiday destinations around the world, Visa focuses on providing a range of travel offers among its portfolio of travel, lifestyle and shopping offers, which have strong regional appeal."
In addition, Visa cardholders can also enjoy fine dining offers throughout Europe, as well as special rates, discounts, and other benefits.
Holiday expenses prizes For cardholders using their Visa card while on holiday abroad, a total of 12 grand prizes of US$5,000 will be awarded during the promotional period, evenly split across the six participating GCC markets (i.e. 2 prizes for each of the UAE, KSA, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar). One entry into the prize draw is earned for each qualifying Visa card transaction.
