WebLoyalty.com adds rebate rewards network

The online loyalty marketer WebLoyalty.com has launched a new e-shopping rebate network, 'Bonus Savings Center', to be made available to members of its 'Reservation Rewards' and 'Buyer Assurance' loyalty programmes. The new centre is the result of a deal struck with rebate network firm, Ebates.com.

The Bonus Savings Center gives WebLoyalty's members access to rebates and discounts from a wide range of online merchants. Using either of the loyalty programmes' web sites, members are able to find participating online merchants and get rebates to use immediately when shopping. The rebate is recorded when they click through to the merchant, and a cheque is automatically mailed to them when they make a purchase.

The rebates provided can be for as much as 25% of the purchase price. In addition, the Bonus Savings centre provides access to hard-to-find coupons and special offers that can be used at the time of purchase, meaning members can save twice on the same purchase.

Loyal bond Through the programme, the retailer's bond with the customer is strengthened as members are initially given a US$10 rebate to encourage repeat purchases via their web site. In addition, either programme can optionally be co-branded with the merchant's own logo and graphics, allowing them to offer their customers a reward programme that increases brand awareness.

"By adding a benefit like the Bonus Savings Center, we provide another important aspect of running a subscription-based programme," said Rick Fernandes, CEO for WebLoyalty.com. "We have also found that many internet shoppers are drawn online specifically because of the discounts available."
