London, UK – [18th October 2024] A recent partnership between fitness app, WithU and McDonald’s MONOPOLY promotion in the UK resulted in a significant spike in people taking part in on-demand workouts.
The partnership, which saw WithU selected as a prize partner in the popular Power Peel promotion, ran from 4th September to 15th October, with McDonald’s MONOPOLY players in the UK getting the chance to win a three-month trial of the award-winning WithU fitness app.
WithU reports a 297% increase in new app sign ups as a result of the partnership, with 95% of those who redeemed a WithU code during the promotion going on to sign up for a WithU account.
This year marked WithU’s first partnership with McDonald’s MONOPOLY UK, following a successful launch with Macca’s MONOPOLY in Australia and McDonald’s MONOPOLY in New Zealand in 2023.
The promotion has proved successful in empowering those new to fitness to workout, with beginner level workouts accounting for over 83% of workouts completed by new members who joined WithU via the promotion.
