Dell Launched a new global Loyalty Program with web3 data storage benefits provided by Oort

The launch of Dell’s latest customer loyalty program, Dell Rewards, is designed to foster strong engagement and deliver exceptional value to its vast network of over 10 million global loyalty program members. With a focus on enhancing members’ lifestyles and businesses by fueling their passions and pursuits, this innovative program introduces a range of features, cutting-edge services, and member-only offers that cater specifically to the unique needs of Dell’s esteemed customer base. Dell partnered with Oort, a web3 data cloud service provider, to launch the new program, which will be available for customers from Canada on July 7th, 2023, for US users from July 26th, 2023, then for over 10 million customers from the rest of the world.

American Express Canada winds down its AIR MILES co-brand partnership

American Express Canada is doubling down on its Membership Rewards program and ending its partnership with AIR MILES®. American Express will be focusing on its award-winning Membership Rewards program and a select group of strategic partners going forward. Cardmembers will seamlessly transition to an American Express product which earns Membership Rewards by September 30, 2023 with specific transition dates for individual Cardmembers being communicated to them in an early July notification from American Express.

RaceTrac, Inc. agrees to acquire Gulf Oil LLC

RaceTrac, Inc., a family-owned leader in the convenience store industry, announced that its wholly-owned wholesale fuel supply and trading subsidiary, Metroplex Energy, has signed a definitive agreement with Gulf Oil L.P. to acquire Gulf Oil LLC. As part of the transaction, RaceTrac will acquire Gulf’s nationally recognized fuel brand across the United States and U.S. territories, all of Gulf’s branded distributor and license agreements and the exclusive rights to market fuel at Gulf’s retail locations along the Massachusetts Turnpike.

Expedia Group Launches One Key Unified Rewards Program

Expedia Group’s new rewards program, One Key, launched last week in the United States, allowing members to earn and use rewards on bookings through the company’s leading brands. The company said the strength of the unified loyalty program is its flexibility, allowing travelers who, for example, book flights through Expedia to use those rewards on hotel rooms through Hotels.com or vacation rentals with Vrbo. Expedia Group first announced the concept of a single platform in September 2021.

Circle K Inner Circle Program off to a great start

We reported a few weeks ago that Circle K was launching a trial of its loyalty program, Inner Circle, in Florida stores. The launch has met with great success as Alimentation Couche-Tard reports that it has  seen 1.2 million enrollments in its new membership program just three weeks after debuting the platform in Florida. President and CEO Brian Hannasch provided details during the convenience retailer’s fourth-quarter earnings call on Wednesday.

Flipkart Confirms Rollout of Digitally Enabled Personal Loan Offering

Flipkart has partnered with Axis Bank to launch a digitally enabled personal loan offering. With this personal loan offering, the Indian eCommerce marketplace’s customers can get loan approval on Flipkart within 30 seconds and flexible repayment cycles ranging from six months to 36 months, the companies said. Flipkart Private Limited is an Indian e-commerce company, headquartered in Bengaluru, and incorporated in Singapore as a private limited company. The company initially focused on online book sales before expanding into other product categories such as consumer electronics, fashion, home essentials, groceries, and lifestyle products. The service competes primarily with Amazon India and domestic rival Snapdeal.

Mastercard partners with JazzCash to revolutionize digital payments in Pakistan

Mastercard has announced a collaboration with JazzCash, the largest digital wallet provider in Pakistan serving over 43 million accounts, to revolutionize digital payments by introducing affordable acceptance solutions in the country.
