Dollar General Introduces DG Cash Back Rewards Program with Ibotta

Dollar General announced its new DG Cash Back Program, which allows customers to earn cash back in their DG Wallet on eligible purchases through the Company’s partnership with the Ibotta Performance Network. Customers can add offers available on the “Deals” page to their profile, and earnings from the program can be redeemed for future in-store purchases. Dollar General customers can sign up for DG Cash Back by visiting www.dollargeneral.com or through the DG mobile app. In the official press release, Bryan Leach, Ibotta’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, said “Dollar General has always taken an innovative approach to customer loyalty, and this program is another example of their focus to help American consumers save money.”

Deloitte partners with Capillary Technologies to enable Indian customer loyalty solutions

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP and Capillary Technologies announced a strategic alliance designed to help companies increase customer loyalty, retention and engagement in India. The two companies aim to drive digital transformation and data-driven strategies, enabling companies to scale through hyper-personalised programs and interest-based communities. “With technology and innovation driving India’s growth trajectory, it is imperative for Indian companies to take steps to build technical capabilities and enable long-term relationships with consumers,” said Anand Ramanathan, Partner, Deloitte India.

Shell launches new loyalty tier for Fuel Rewards program

Shell has announced the launch of its new Fuel Rewards loyalty tier, Platinum Status, which is powered by PDI Technologies. This latest addition to the Fuel Rewards program at Shell lets customers who qualify for Platinum Status save 10 cents per gallon on every fill-up and offers double the savings when shopping for select products called “In-Store Rewards” in Shell convenience stores. Platinum Status is the next tier above Gold Status, providing members with Shell’s best fuel savings offer and access to VIP experiences and special rewards such as gift cards and more. Fuels Rewards members can unlock Platinum Status at all participating Shell stations nationwide beginning July 17.

African Bank recently announced its new loyalty program, "Audacious Rewards"

The program allows members to earn and redeem points on daily purchases, including groceries, fuel, and exclusive aspirational rewards. The program's goal is to improve the financial well-being of customers by creating incentives for positive financial behavior, such as helping customers improve their credit score. Audacious Rewards is already available to African Bank customers with a transactional MyWORLD account. The full roll out, which will feature a more extensive rewards catalog and incentives for positive financial behavior, is scheduled to launch later this year.
